I’m not quite sure how you can price a vehicle of which only 2600 were made 80 years ago , and which h as huge historical significance.
I’m just saying it’s a bit out of my price range.
Behold, the Bantam BRC-40, at the low low price of $110k.

I should point out, too, that of the 2600 or so manufactured, most were sent overseas to war, so I’d wager the number of survivors is pretty damned small.

You could buy a small piece of land, or a jeep you can’t realistically ever drive.

Well based on what I know other rare military vehicles go for, this is probably worth that. It’s what all Jeeps were modeled after and like you said, I bet most of them were destroyed. A working pacific landing craft in working order is worth a million dollars because they sunk most of them in the bays of islands. This is no ordinary flat fender MB, it’s literally the start of the concept. The had the BRC, 40 and 60. No idea how many of each are left. Oh and it says some of these were lend lease vehicles to Russia, you think we got any of those back, I think not.

Anyone buying this stuff is probably a collector, they have cash and a building with their toys in it.

Military vehicle collectors are serious, they buy stuff all over the world when people locate something, this is cheap to them, they all want to find a lost Panther tank or something.
